As one of the most popular Toyota vehicles, the Highlander is kept in good shape and by all looks like Toyota hasn't quit tweaking it. The third-generation model will be available with a choice of three powertrains and a total of six model grades, including the new sporty SE trim.

Performance is strong with the 2017 Highlander, as it embraces the aid of the new Direct Shift 8AT automatic gearbox, mated to a 3.5-liter V6 Direct Injection power unit.This engine provides significantly more power and will be available on all Higlander gas units, along with the Hybrid models.

2017 Higlander and Highlander Hybrid will be receiving tons of refinement, starting from the visuals, going through technology, ending up with cozy interior components. Each trim level will come with different grille finishes, special silver painted finish and chrome finish for Limited and Platinum grades.

The latest Highlander family member will be geared with Toyota Safety Sense P, the multi-feature advanced safety pack. The suite offers cutting-edge technologies as the Pre-Collision System with Forward Collision warning, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams, Pedestrian Pre-Colliision System and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
