BMW 3 320d ED Sport will be offered with two trim levels and numerous optional goodies
BMW 3 320d ED Sport model will now receive some upgrades and changes, so it will have even better sporty appearance. Based on the recently unveiled ED Plus model, the ED Sport comes with special Sport trim, that also offers and the class-leading efficiency 320 ED engine. It is a 2.0-liter powerplant, that will be paired to a six-speed manual transmission or the special eight-speed automatic.
And with the extensive list of EfficientDynamics technologies, the BMW 320d ED Sport emits only 104g/km of CO2, which makes the vehicle one of the cleanest and most fuel-efficient sports model in the whole 3 Series lineup. Now the redesigned vehicle comes with Active Air Flaps, integrated into the kidney grill and with fine-tuned suspension system, that improves the overall performance. And the best part is that the achieved superior fuel efficiency will not only benefit the taxation rate, but it will also maintain its wonderful performance. The 2.0-liter diesel unit has a total of 163 hp (119 kW) and finishes the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 7.8 seconds. And with this start it chases the top speed of 257 km/h (143mph) Impressive, right?
Furthermore, owners of the 320d ED Sport will benefit from some low cost ownership, thanks to the increase in residual value of the vehicle. This will allow customers to have some additional sporty features for some incredibly low price. How cool is that?
The BMW 3 320d ED Sport comes with great equipment, even for the standard pack: the vehicle offers 17-inch light-alloy wheels, Business Navigation, Dakota leather upholsteries, Sports steering wheel, some nice trim finishers and Heated Sports Front Seats. The BMW 3 320d ED Sport will be offered in two trim levels:320d ED Sport Saloon and 320d ED Sport Touring. When it comes to performance, both trim levels are almost identical, but they still have some different features. Both come with 400 Nm of Torque, but the Saloon version offers 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds, 252 km/h (140mph) top speed and 108g/km of CO2 emissions, while the Touring model goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h (138mph) and emits 114 CO2 emissions.
