The smaller brother of Ford Kuga – the EcoSport has been brought at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The car was firstly introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month.

After bringing the car to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, Ford is showcasing the Euro-spec 2013 EcoSport in Geneva.

The SUV rides on Fiesta's platform and is powered by similar 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine with 125HP (92 kW) or a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated power unit with with 110HP (81 kW). There is also a diesel option – a 1.5 liter TDCi with 90HP (66 kW).

The SUV's distinctive front grille, short bonnet and raked front pillars, deliver a sporty and contemporary feel, and angular headlamps reinforce the modern look. It will also offer a comprehensive package of driver assistance technologies including Electronic Stability Program and Hill Launch Assist.

2013 Ford EcoSport comes with YNC AppLink system which provides support for voice-controlled smartphone applications. There is also a SYNC Emergency Assistance which will connect passengers to local emergency services operators after an accident.
