DTE-Systems Volkswagen Amarok Engine Tuning DTE-Systems Volkswagen Amarok has now more power to offer. The stock 180 hp (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque weren't enough for the tuning experts at DTE-Systems. This is the reason why they decided to develop a PDI10 power module in order to increase the output of the Amarok.

And this is how they have done everything.

Firstly, they have created DTE Injector Tuning, which increases engine's efficiency. All in all this means more power and less efficiency. Follow me until the end and you'll now the exact numbers! The injector tuning also comes with specific mapping for the vehicle and of course – appropriate adapter cables. They help in linking the module between the vehicle and its ECU.

In addition to this, the thermal protection functions of the TDI engine remain the same as are the emission rates. This ensures maximum engine durability and reliability.

The PDI10 performance module can be combined with an in-house made PedalBox conversion. It will help remove built-in lag in the electronic drive-by-wire throttle by connecting the accelerator pedal and the engine. Another benefit is the optimal distribution of fuel dispensed to the engine.

The final result is 30 horsepower and 60 Newton meters in addition, meaning a total of 210 hp (154 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. And in terms of fuel savings, this Amarok pick-up needs 15% less fuel than before.
