AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe is the world fastest road-legal diesel car. Built by the renowned BMW tuner from Aachen - AC Schnitzer, the ACS3 3.5d Coupe broke the world record from 2006 by reaching the astonishing 288.7 km/h at the legendary high-speed circuit in Nardo, southern Italy.
This is the third world record set by AC Schnitzer at Nardo. After the records from 2006 with the TENSION as the fastest road-legal BMW and the GP3.10 GAS POWERED from 2007 for gas-powered vehicles, the ACS3 3.

The E90 3 series was introduced in 2004 and came available in March 2005. It became BMW AG's best selling automobile. E90 is the fifth generation of the BMW 3rd Series. The estate is designated as E91, coupe E92 and coupe cabriolet E93. Only the estate doesn't have M3 version. Unofficial information sources claim, that E90 will be replaced in 2012. BMW will bring an acclaimed new generation 3.0-litre diesel engine to Australia in 2009. Deliveries of the new BMW 330d Sedan are expected to commence in the second quarter. The 330d uses a new generation all aluminium high output turbocharged 180 kW six-cylinder engine that develops a substantial 520 Nm of torque.
Peak power is delivered at 4,000 rpm and peak torque is available between 1,750 and 3,000 rpm. The 330d will be available only with a six-speed automatic transmission.
