Porsche 918 Spyder is expected to hit the market in the late 2013. The sports hybrid car was put on serious test during these months including the 2012 Gran Turismo Nürburgring Evo event in Germany. Audi has announced the R8 GT Spyder, just a year after the R8 GT. It will be run in limited edition of just 333 cars. However, all units of the open-top sports car are already sold out. R8 GT Spyder is powered by the famous 5.2 FSI V10 engine from Gallardo – 560PS (412 kW) and 540Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph). Another surprise for the Geneva Motor Show and a nice one. Wiesmann will introduce the Spyder Concept. The manufacturer didn't release any other information, but the statement is "powerful, ultra-light and purist". "We want to test the marketability of such cars in Geneva. The feedback of customers, partners and experts has high influence on the consideration of advancing the Spyder model.", commented Friedhelm Wiesmann.
