Almost every company released a concept car and Skoda has announced theirs Octavia Green E Line. The car used as a platform is Octavia Combi, but with some modifications like earl white paint, aerodynamic wheels, and a glossy black roof with integrated photovoltaic panels.

The interior is practically the same, but with revised display which shows vehicle information - output, power consumption, battery charge and the remaining range.

The lithium-ion battery is 26.5 kWh, which is enough to supply the electric motor , which produces 85kW (116PS) and 270Nm (199lb-ft).  The acceleration is mediocre - 0 to 100 km/h in 12 seconds and a top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph), but the car is able to go only on electricity up to 140 km on a single charge.

The car will be tested in 2011, but mass production is not planned. The main goal is obtaining additional information relevant to the further development of the electric drive.
