BMW has released 98 new high resolution pictures of the 2012 M550d xDrive Saloon. The M-performance vehicle is expected to hit the European market in May. It is powered by the new updated tri-turbocharged diesel with staggering 127PS per liter.

BMW has announced the X3 xDrive28i, which is powered by the new twin-turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with superb power and torque. The manufacturer will also launch the M Sport Edition of the BMW X5 aimed to satisfy the most demanding customers of the luxury SAVs.

BMW xDrive is claimed to be the world’s most intelligent all-wheel-drive system. It was firstly introduced back in 2003 with the previous BMW X3 (E83). Since then, it has been offered with X1, X3, X5 and X6 as standard and in 3-Series (E90,F30), 5-Series (E60, F10) and the latest 7-Series (F01) as an option.

The latest X3 will be exhibited at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, but with M Sport package. The crossover also features Auto Start-Stop function combined with a six-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The ///M Sport package includes a front bumper, new side skirts, a rear bumper with diffuser, sports exhaust system and rear roof spoiler.

2011 BMW X3 is priced at 39 100 Euro. The small SAV is expected to arrive in the market in November this year. The vehicle will make its public debut this September at the Paris Auto show.
